Happy New School Year! Welcome to 5B! We have a great year of learning ahead of us and I look forward to sharing about our time in Room 236 with you. :)

4. To find out if school is cancelled due to inclement weather, you have to look for our school’s name, “Highlander Charter School” on the cancellation/delay list. We are our own district and do not fall under Providence.

Policy & Expectations Reminders:

Homework Policy: Any missing assignment during a given week will be made up over the weekend and due the following Monday. If the work is not completed, the student will stay after school for homework detention during After School hours from 3-5 PM.

Tardiness Policy: Students should arrive between 8:00-8:25 am. If you child arrives after 8:30 am, s/he s considered tardy. 3 tardies = 1 detention, served Thursdays from 3-5 PM.
