Welcome to 1A!
Some things we have worked on these past few weeks:
- Words on our Word Wall: away, car, friends, house, our, school, very, any, enough, ever, every, own, sure, were, always, become, day, everything, nothing, stays, things, also, family, new, other, some, their, around, find, food, grow, under, water, down, inside, now, there, and together.
-In science we are working on air and weather. Students have been learning a lot during our science experiments!
-In math we are working on telling time. Please continue to practice addition facts and subtraction facts!
The homework packets will be sent out every Monday. Please make sure your child works on the homework packet throughout the week. It does not need to be handed in but it should be work on at home.
Reading logs will be sent out on the first day of school. Please remember to read for 20 minutes a night and return the signed reading log each morning!
