I hope that you are all having a great summer. I would like to officially welcome you to the your first year of middle school. As you can all imagine, middle school is a time of growing and maturing into the young adults that you will soon become. Preparing you for high school is our main goal and we take that job very seriously in the 6th, 7th and 8th grade. Expect the 2010-2011 academic year to be full of new adventures and learning excitement. However, expect this coming year to be a challenging one as well; where your hard work will be rewarded.
Here is some important information:

Folders with 3 holes punched into them
3-4 Packets of lined paper (not college ruled)
2 Black and white marbled notebooks
Crayons, colored pencils or markers
2-3 packets of pencils
Calculator
A pencil case
Pencils (not pens)
Scissors
Post-its
Portable USB for computer class
There is a Back To School Celebration Event where free school supplies will given to all students
in Rhode Island. The event will take place on Saturday August 21st from 10am to 1pm, in various
locations. To find the location nearest you, please call (401) 374-4059.
In addition, please make sure that you are working on your summer homework packet...

NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
Uniform information went home this summer. As always, we will adhere by the uniform policy
from the very first day of school. I'd like to remind you that sandals and open-toe shoes are not
