Reading Street This week we read Ms. Bindergarten takes a field trip with Kindergarten and talked about places in a community as well as community helpers. We talked about fire fighters, mail carriers, librarians, and lots more! Ask your child to name some community helpers. Words we read: the, little Vocabulary: fire station, post office, library, bakery, park, chaperone |
Math This week we started combining the kindergartens for math. Mr. Willard teaches one differentiated group and I teach the other. The students have done a great job switching between classrooms and follwing instructions from different teachers. Some skills every child should work on: recognizing numbers 0 - 10 counting 1 - 30 without skipping understanding more and less |
