Highlander Charter School

The Lab consists of 19 Apple Imac Computers that are all wirelessly connected to the InterNet. We also have a laser printer, digital movie camera, digital photo camera and a projector that is used to teach.

All students take a computer course for a semester and are taught word processing, Keyboarding (typing) Multimedia programs using text, graphics, sound and special effects for presentations.  The 7th and 8th grades have just finished a project using Keynote, a multimedia program.  They did research, took notes, and presented their project within the program on either Bill Gates or Steve Jobs, both computer experts
