If students are not in uniform they will be asked to change into sweat pants and a red polo shirt. There is a supply of these items in the nurse’s office and clothing will be washed after every use. However, each Friday is dress-down day.
Some rules apply Monday through Friday:
- Hoods, hats, and doo-rags are not allowed
- Underwear must not be visible
- Skirts must be appropriate length: no more than 2 inches above the knee
- No halter or strapless tops. Shirts must meet the pants or skirt
- No inappropriate graphics on t-shirts, alcohol or tobacco slogans, inappropriate language or depictions of violence.
Though the dress code may sometimes be difficult for families, it is designed to make life easier for students and parents. We appreciate the effort by parents to help their children follow the dress code. We thank your children regularly for their dress code efforts throughout the year.
